Adyria was born into higher standings within the San d’Orian monarchy, falling right near the King himself. Her father Thibaud, a former Temple Knight himself, and her mother Jacqueline have a primarily stay-at-home role for her older two brothers, Silouane and Elaloïs, and soon-to-come ten other brothers. While being the only woman in the family besides Jacqueline, Adryia was taught to become more well-kept and carefully followed the homestead/stay-at-home motherly motifs as she was told had to happen. However, Adryia was occasionally drug away from her mother’s lectures to run into the woods of Ronfaure with her brothers Silouane and Elaloïs to practice and roleplay as the fabled Dragoon Knights of Lore, bonding over every played-out scenario, no matter how redundant.
As she continued to grow, the same 50/50 childhood play continued well into her preteen years, when she was ever so nudged into joining the Young Griffons leadership by her father and Silouane. A small group run by the royal family to train and encourage younger children to fight in the wards outside their nation, Adyria was not shy about joining up, as it felt as natural as anything she’d known. She kept busy with the Griffons as a dragoon of choice amongst the other knights around her, despite being off-kilter with the rest of the swordsmen, but never let them down, even if it wasn’t anything overly grave. Eventually aging out of the program at 18, Adyria was brought more into the mothership role for her younger siblings as her mother foretold, placing her courtyard polearm up in order to help her family out through odd ends work. Weasling her way through the backside of the Royal Guards with minimal aid from her father, she had made a quiet yet comfortable means of income, which she used to help her eleventh brother, Pascal, in his love for astronomy. Giving into her love for Dragoon, she succumbs to her intrigue and begins a full start as one of King Destin’s few knights alongside Silouane and Elaloïs, as they three always had been.
Taking their newfound trust and power into hand, the three would split for days at a time on their missions, Adyria ever seeing either or both during service or just passing between the halls of their sleeping quarters to rest. With their relationships starting to feel colder as the growth from childhood into adulthood sank in, Adyria stopped speaking to either of them when her 21st birthday came and went. In her heart, she knew they would be fine without her, but on the other hand, she knew what the two could scheme if left alone and together.
Living quietly within the halls of her family home as she learned of Silouane’s deployment to Xarcabard and Elalo's to Beaucedine Glacier to better serve San d’Oria and, in turn, King Destin,. Hearing her mother wail about never seeing them again, Thibaud lectures Adyria and her brothers on the importance of staying in touch with family no matter what. Of course, the lecture was at her while the others rolled their eyes and blew raspberries at the two of them while shrugging it all off. She quietly waited for her turn to go into the wilds of the realm before coming across a stout Galka during her patrol routes with a lost look in his eyes. When she met him with concern and not the usual array of mistreatment that Elvaan gives to the outside folk, he explained his interest in forming a small adventuring party of his own but had been out of luck. Adyria then properly introduced herself to him, giving his name over as Galekun. The two spoke for a bit longer before she had to continue her routes and discussed a rendezvous later that night to discuss more.
When finally meeting back up with Galekun at the local tavern, they briefly spoke about each other's limited adventuring expertise while being met with awkward laughter. Galekun was only a few years older than her, hailing from halfway across the realm from San 'dOria, yet he made his way here on his own two feet. He disclosed his proficiency as a warrior with some knowledge in Corsair, though it seemed to indicate the weariness of both jobs, which led to Adyria disclosing her preference for being a lancer while skirting around the true title of Dragoon. Eventually, the two agreed to form a small duo party under the table, whose name was unknown at the time. The two waved goodbye for the unforeseen future as she made her way back into the Archambault manor. Time drug on like watching paint dry once more; the occasional visits from Galkun kept at least a moment busy. Though, while catching up with him, Adyria was brought aside by one of her colleagues in mention of her brother's return. Embarrassingly, she waved goodbye and made a quick jog to catch up to the two of them, yet she met the wave of the youngest son of King Destin’s, Piruje.
Confused about his intentions, she met his wave and was swiftly informed of hearsay from her brother’s mouths. Piruje pulled Adryia to the side and informed her of how Silouane threatened to assassinate King Destin as he returned from Xarcabard with nothing more than a moment’s strike. Baffled by the remarks, Adyria swore to see Silouane and confront him herself, but was talked down from it by the young prince. Instead, she and the rest of House Archambault’s oldest were brought into question, as if the eldest of the family held such ill-regard, what were their children being taught? House Archambault was collectively taken aback by both the King’s notion and the accused threats by their own eldest Thibaud. Jacqueline, Elaloïs, and Adyria made their way to Chateau ‘d Oraguille in fear of what was to come.
Inside King Destin, the oldest Prince Trion, Prince Piruje, and the youngest Princess Claidie lined the lavish audience chamber with Silouane in the spotlight. Piruje stood almost a head in front of his father and siblings and began to speak before being shushed by Trion. Disclosing the verbal and written planned assassination of the King, Silouane started to plead his case before Adyria butted her head in to plead her case on how Siloune couldn’t do such a thing before offering her evidence. When motioned to stop speaking by King Destin himself, Piruje remarked on a way to make it fair and to leave a lasting mark on the house itself to remind its members of the order. Inquiring what he meant by that, Adyria was quick to be restrained, and her right eye was removed with the use of a dagger and some dramatic flair in an attempt to one-up his own family. Subdued quickly and rushed to aid by King Destin and the other siblings, Adyria’s father began berating the royal family with notes of his own time working for them.
King Destin and Princess Claidie stayed by her side as she recovered in hospice, even offering their aid in any prosthesis as retribution. Once Adyria awoke in the middle of the night, she had gathered what things she could alongside a raptorskin eyepatch and made her way out and away from the home, only pausing to leave notes for the youngest siblings. Meeting up with Galekun outside of Western Ronfaure by chance, he inquired about Adyria’s new injury, which she shook off and began her way out into the world with him now forming Followers of the Sundown. The two started the long walk into the sunset in hopes of building their adventuring group away from everything else.
