The third son of Naoh Tayuun, favored daughter of the third matriarch of clan Frostlight, Naoh'li grew up in bustling camps of miqo'te hunters in the depths of the Black Shroud. Though doted on by his parents and grandparents, other children teased him for not wanting to play rough once they were old enough for toy weapons and hunting games. Often this led to his peers being excessively rough with him in particular, and he still bears the criss-crossed scars on his cheek to show it.
Fortunately, his grandmother was wise enough to recognize the needs of a sensitive child, and encouraged Naoh'li to learn from the clan healers, foraging for medicinal herbs and treating injuries and illness. His aptitude for the healing arts was nothing short of remarkable, and when he neared his age of maturity just a few short years after the Calamity, the matriarchs offered him the chance to leave for Gridania to study at the Conjurer's Guild.
Clan Frostlight didn't interact much with the other forest dwellers beyond trade and the occasional festival, and Naoh'li had never left the embrace of his people—but this opportunity lit an excitement in his heart that he'd never felt before. He wished his family farewell and good hunting, and set out on a journey far beyond anything a little misfit miqo'te boy could have imagined.
Now, two decades later, Naoh'li is an accomplished White Mage and a savior of worlds, a name recognized in nearly all corners of Etheirys and beyond—but he is more than happy to be a simple adventurer again, striking out towards the horizon for nothing but the thrill of discovering something new, always ready and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who reaches out. If asked, he would say that magic and medicine can heal the body, but only kindness and compassion can heal the soul, and he's happy to use both as much as he's able.
Currently, Naoh'li splits his time between his rooms at the Students of Baldesion Annex in Old Sharlayan, temporary quarters in Xak Tural's Solution 9, and the guild house of his free company in Ishgard. He is known to be an active performer in a dance troupe, and occasionally takes housing design commissions. He frequently falls in love with Viera boys, to the dismay of his friends who have to listen to him bemoan his broken heart into his cups, and with a little luck, might be caught in the midst of Eorzea's nightlife now and then.
