he is a life long lived; a walking testament to mankind's potential to adapt, to survive, and to persist despite overwhelming odds. he has taken up many different names, earned many more. each one remembered by one of the obscenely numerous scars that litter his body. each their own story to tell that will stick with him 'til the day the star chooses to finally let him rest. each experience sticking with him into these new ages and defining a strict code of personal conduct that doesn't seem to be easily gleaned by anyone else. and, despite his persistence, leaves him with a permanent shell-shocked stare.
these days he is slower. the creak of old wounds flaring up forcing him into a temporary sort of retirement until the next war needs to be fought, or the next voidsent to be killed. the end of the bozja-zadnor conflict has left him and many others more battered than he dare admit. ishgard is his home for the time being. despite his frequent complaints.
