Background Information

Looking into Dahlia's background one would find she is from humble beginnings. Her mother was a Sea Wolf Arcanist that had moved to Ul'dah to after meeting and falling for a Hellsguard Librarian. One would be able to find a relatively uneventful childhood, save for the loss of her mother at the Battle of Carteneau. After such, a young Dahlia would begin taking more of an interest in magicks of all kind; eventually convincing her father to allow her to study with the Thaumaturge Guild. Dahlia and her father would be noted to be close should people investigate such. Having lost one parent she grew protective of the family she had left. Eventually, Dahlia would be skilled enough to take on small contract from the Adventurer's Guild in Ul'dah and even travel some to the other city states. Sadly, she would have to cease her traveling as her father's health worsened in his aging body. It would not take over long for father to pass, but one would say it was a blessing to be able to be with one parent as they passed after losing the other to a battle. In time Dahlia would settle affairs and take his own private collections and keep a place in the city in which she grew up. Currently she's known to still collect esoteric knowledge in anyway she might, using the positions at multiple venues to pay for such passions, while also taking lessons on melding her skill in different magicks with a scythe she had commissioned in the past year. One would find she's known to be kind and caring for others while a bit dower at times, though if you never give her reason to cast you aside you'll find few better friends at your side.
