Personality
Eden is a young, compassionate, empathatic, and curious woman. Her love for others runs strong in her veins. Although many would assume her hardships would bring up a woman who may be sour or bitter, many would be surprised to learn it had done the opposite. To Eden, she has hope. At least, she holds on to it as a way to cope. You would find her interactions to be warm, inviting, and entertaining. Her goal is to keep a smile on the faces around her. Even strangers. If you have a problem, she will listen. If you need help, she'd be the first to offer assistance. Her sweet love towards is what many may find endearing about her.
Outside of that, her curiosity shows no restraint. She has a strong will to learn about anything. She would carry a list of notes of things she wants to study, just so she doesn't forget. Her time alone, while not searching for clues, is devoted to these studies. Many wouldn't be surprised to see her crammed around mountains of books with a nose deep into a tome or scribbling in a notebook.
Eden isn't without her faults. She won't let anyone in on the pain that haunts her. It is always overshadowed with a smile and humor that won't falter. She would often overextend herself towards helping others while neglecting her well-being, and her stubbornness amplifies these negative traits that make her hard to budge.
Backstory
Eden Solis was born in Old Sharlayan alongside her twin brother, Elias, to two highly respected scholars. Their childhood was filled with wonder, intellect, and warmth—until their father, once a prominent arcanist and void researcher, fell into obsession. He was driven by a desire to unlock deeper knowledge of the Void and made a pact with a powerful voidsent. As part of the deal, he offered up Elias. Elias is now bound to this voidsent and is slowly being corrupted by its influence.
Her father and Elias vanished, leaving Eden and her mother behind. Her mother, devastated, has become withdrawn and refuses to leave their home. Eden spends her days after that trying to make money to support her mother all while trying to pick up traces or clues of her father and brother's whereabouts.
