Saranai is typically seen to be incredibly drowsy and lackadaisical throughout the day, opting to doze whenever possible if forced to be up during daytime hours. She is known to be more formal and reserved around these time periods, her words being short and to the point. She resents the sun and will be seen typically hissing at it, cursing in her mother tongue at Azim.
During night time is when Saranai slinks out of her shell and lets all inhibitions go, being much more energetic, mischievous and sociable towards others. One would think she is comprised of two different personas, considering her rather stiff demeanor in the earlier parts of the day. A devout follower of Nhaama, Saranai takes her practices seriously and thus scorns those that follow Azim's beliefs.

Upon initial inspection of the Xaela woman, it is evident that her pale flesh is covered with a series of ebony scales, growing in frequency and intensity near her legs and arms. Her horns are medium-sized and plated with scales, a headpiece symbolizing nhaama adorned atop her head alongside the scaly fixtures. Her hair is a blonde tone, tinted with a peach hue that compliments her amber irises.in the daytime, Saranai is seen adorned in fabrics from head to toe, shielding most of her skin from the harsh rays of Azim's sun whenever she is forced to leave her chambers.
Her clothing items of choice in the daytime is seen as regal in nature, a signature of her status amongst the kagon tribe. she is traditionally affixed with various silks, fabrics, chains and other jewels befitting a nomad of high status, having gotten the items ported from Yanxia for her own personal use. The woman's attire in the nighttime is comprised of looser fabric that hugs her curves, indulging in the cool air against her bare skin in the later parts of the evening. the colors of her silks and other fabrics consist of dark purples, lilacs, and other shades in order to blend in with the landscapes of the desert in the night.

within the harsh deserts, houses a village of xaela who have dedicated their lives to the goddess of the moon, nestled within the outskirts of the steppe. it is within this place where saranai kagon was born.having been born during the sacred time of renewal, the young babe was given the name "saranai," meaning "moon's dusk"

growing up amongst her fellow gifted peers, saranai was taught in various practices pertaining to nhaama and the kagon way, the young pupil taking the information to heart.at the age of 14, saranai was given permissions to advance in her studies, having been granted the abilities to start harnessing the aetheric energies within her.

as saranai entered into her years of adulthood, the xaelic woman underwent her coming-of-age ceremony, being designated one of the future head priestesses, beginning her training at 18 years of age.

for many years, saranai was tasked with traversing the steppe, seeking out various tribes to trade recipes and other trade secrets to one another.as a reward for her efforts, the young woman was tasked with becoming the herbalist of the tribe, making various concoctions such as poultices, poisons and other items.
