Background
The story of the character's origins
Born to a neglectful family, with parents who often cheated on each other, Adede was one of many children. Her father worked as a botanist at the Guild in Gridania and Adede was often seen helping out, trying to help her father support the family, though he paid little attention to her and often left the Guild for the day without her. One day she met the man who would be the love of her life, Nomani Tayamani, a fisherman from Limsa Lominsa. They left Gridania to see the world and traveled together until they had their first child. They then returned to Gridania and opened the Hearthglow Haven Inn and ran it for many joyful years together. Sadly their happiness did not last forever. Nomani fell ill and passed away shortly after the birth of their second grandchild, leaving Adede the sole proprietor. Determined to keep the establishment alive and serve a greater purpose, she repurposed the inn as an orphanage, providing shelter and care to children orphaned by the ongoing war at the eastern borders of the Shroud
