L'Poizen was an aventurer who was proficient at her job of taking down tough monsters. While she enjoyed the thrill of combat, she desired a more steady line of work with higher pay. It wasn't till she joined a mercenary group called ‘Shifting Shadows,' where she got her wish. Shifting Shadows was a group that lacked a morale compass. Their job was to do whatever their employer asked them to do. If there was a need to kill a threatening monster, they'd be tasked to put it to the sword or capture it. If someone, or even several people needed to join the aetherical sea, it'd be up to that group to make it happen by any means. Poizen took on as many jobs as she could, exlcuding those that requested murder of children. She didn't mind risking her life to fight low odds, or if it meant permentally silencing an individual with her weapon, but killing children was a line she dared not cross. Thankfully, it didn't interfere with her chance to make more money; something that she was content to doing. They were occassionally tasked to gain secrets in both minor and major cities of Eorzea for either Garleans or others in the Black Market.
Business was going well for them for some suns, but eventually they made enemies with the wrong group. One by one, members of the Shifting Shadows vanished without a trace. Finding the situation concerning, the leader disbanded the group and gave people their shares and other valuables. Once again on her own, she ventures out for more adventurer gigs…or she tried. Whenever she traveled out, she would sense being followed, and dealt with the problem by confronting it. Some days were peaceful. Other days, she would be fighting from her life with random assassins, or offers of similar mercenary work, to which she'd turn them down. One night at a tavern, she got into an arguement with a drunkard, to which turned into a brawl. Enforcers came by to stop the brawl. Enraged and intoxicated, L'Poizen placed her attention onto the enforcers, which quickly resulted in her getting arrested. Sober and irritated of being hunted, she decides to do her time in prison and then travels onto the Far East in hopes to restart her life. Since then, she has enjoyed her time in Kugane, even putting in time to learn the ways of the samurai. These days, she uses mainly her Pugalist skills and samurai swordplay for anything related to adventurer's guild. She even visits Eorzea from time to time, though she tries to not make her stay be too long, else her assassins catches wind of her whereabouts.
Her goals now is to enjoy life to the fullest and find adventure that strikes her fancy…along with becoming the strongest miqo'te pugalist known to mankind.
