Jaxon Stone was born and raised in Ala Mhigo, a kingdom renowned for its martial traditions and fierce independence. Naturally, he and his older brother, Eamon, were trained in combat from a very early age, and much to his father's approval, there was obvious talent presented. However, when the Garlean Empire invaded their home, Jaxon and Eamon were forced to flee and seek refuge in Limsa Lominsa. There, they turned to a life of crime as a petty thieves, but would eventually catch the attention of a pirate crew, which would recruit them. Driven by the need to survive and fueled by a deep hatred for the Garleans, the brothers flourished in the life of piracy.
Over the years, Jaxon established himself as a ruthless pirate, showing off his cunning nature as well as his lust for battle. He was known to have skilled aether control as well as presumably unmatched martial prowess. Those that weren't intimidated by his personality would soon figure out what lied beneath it.
In recent years, Jaxon found out about his bastard daughter, born from a one-night stand that he had with a Hyur woman. What wasn't known to him was her engagement to a wealthy tradesman. Alas, the now-husband would find out about his wife's infidelity and force Jaxon to take the daughter, Lila, off his hands.
Lila is now the center of Jaxon's world, and he goes to great lengths to ensure her safety and future. Now, he does what he knows best to support his daughter, even choosing to leave the pirate life to give himself more freedom. Lately, he's taken to more mercenary work on top of thievery. In addition, he strives to keep his daughter's existence as private as possible; only a few people know of it.
