T'Edwynna Koh
Eddi was born in the reaches of Outer La Nocea within the Condor tribe, known for it's reclusiveness, hostility, and violent nature towards outsiders. However, Eddi did not share this traditional mindset of her people. Often wandering out and consorting with people of other races and factions when she was a child.
Her father, T'Koh Nunh, was an avid story teller. Often telling Eddi stories of flights and fancies of the outside world. This only piqued her interest further.
Often, Eddi fell ill. She had a poor immune system, and it caused the village chirurgens plenty of grief.
Her mother, T'naja Kahn, thought Eddi as a hinderance and too much to bear while holding contribution to their tribe. Often talking down to Eddi, refusing to include her in educational activities, and even so far as physically abusing her. This caused Eddi to find solace in her father. And he grew to be her best friend and closest advisor as she grew into her teenage years.
Unfortunately, T'koh, too fell ill. Causing unrest within the tribe about whom would assume leadership if he were to pass on to Azeyma. This enraged Eddi. Instead of searching for ways to ail her bedridden father, the Tia were more concerned on whom would assume his mantle. Eddi viewed this as a gross misconception of priority and scolded the village for assuming such a stance. Naturally, an already resentful village turned on her. Causing Eddi to retreat into her fathers chambers and slowly watch him die.
When T'koh had passed, she knew that she was not meant to stay. And T'koh encouraged her to go out into the world, leave her name there. And be the person she wanted to be.
And so she did. But not wanting to leave the name her father had given her completely behind, she assumed the name her father doted on her as a petname. Eddi.
Through the years Eddi has adopted many skills to do a variety of different jobs. But nothing that ever gained traction as a passion. Which would someday come to bite her.
Eddi worked for a company that did general goods contracting procurement. Or, in simpler terms, they went out and got materials, and food bigger companies needed. Eddi had planned a vacation to go see othard, because she heard the food there was wonderful. So she went. And she was gone for a good couple of weeks.
But upon returning, Eddi had found a sign on the front door of her company letting employees know that the assets were repossessed by the financial lenders of Ul'Dah. Eddi had spent most of her Gil in Othard and was now with very little money, and no place to call home.
When she settled and found new work, under her friend V'raska, she was able to get back on her feet. She also met a woman in a cafe named Tsuruhime Kobayashi. The two both came from harships in their childhoods and found solace and comfort in one another, becoming fast, and close friends.
Tsuruhime soon married after thier meeting. Causing her, and her husband, Hiro, to form a reputable clan of samurai. With the goal of helping the clan grow, Tsuruhime formally adopted Eddi inter her clan, and family. Giving Eddi the clan name of Keiko.
Now, with new purpose, and a new family to care for and protect. Eddi steps into tomorrow, with bright eyes, a hopeful smile, and a growling stomach.
