IC Information
Originally from the village of Hyskaris, Lorilae was a well-known entertainer for her people. Whether it be a songstress, a dancer, or even a musician she knew how to lift the spirits of her friends and family. Through the years she even learned to hunt, wielding either bow or spear - though her favored weapons became her dual blades for their light weight and ease of travel while carrying her harp.
By her fiftieth nameday the Viera had seen enough of the jungle and her people's various villages that her need for adventure became unsated. Life had become stale. She knew of a world vast and unknown to her people beyond the borders of the jungle, sneaking away from her village to catch glimpses of the land of Dalmasca from the safety of her trees. Her craving for adventure would soon one day win over, and she'd tell her closest friends of her desires to break the Green Word before finally taking leave.
Her first breath of air outside of her home's borders was filled with anxiety, uncertainty. The heat was barely any different, yet the land so vastly strange. She first questioned if she had made a mistake, glancing over her shoulder to the forest edge before setting forth on her path. There was no turning back, and she may as well begin her new adventure now.
Her first few years were spent in Dalmasca, learning the language and culture of the people, and learning she was far from the first viera to leave her homeland. Having now seen a map of the world she so daringly wanted to explore, she was filled with awe at just how small her home truly was compared to the vastness of Hydaelyn. Thus her true journey would finally begin, finding a ship to depart from Dalmasca, into the world beyond.
OOC Information
Hi-hi, I'm Lynn, but most know me OOC as Ethereal.
First and foremost, I love to write, obviously, we're all here as roleplayers to do just that. I'm here to explore the sweeter side of stories, write new adventures, and make long-term contacts for my character to explore their stories together, together. All themes are perfectly acceptable, I love cute character interactions and will love to sway towards that level of writing if two characters mesh well together.
Yes, bedroom-RP is possible, but I don't want to fixate on it and I certainly won't do one-night-stand roleplays. I'm here to write a story, not a one-off OOC lewdshot for the kicks.
Let's try to keep things IC as well. I am not my character. I will be your friend OOC, I think I'm quite a nice person as well, but I will get uncomfortable if IC relationships start to leak into OOC.
Thank you for reading my profile and I hope you like the character!
