With dark hair and a pale visage, Kamille may appear quite spooky to most. She has striking turquoise eyes, face tattoos, and dark lipstick. She is a chubby woman, with a pear-shaped physique and stretch marks from age and childbirth. Kamille is short for an Elezen. She prefers long gowns, jewelry, and isn't afraid to show off what she refers to as her “assets."

Kamille is someone who cares little for what others think. In a society that is all about gossip and hearsay, she manages to keep her head held high despite what other nobility say about her. She is fiercely devoted to her daughter and will do anything to protect her. Kamille is known to be a bit of a flirt, despite never seeming to settle down with anyone.
background
Kamille's parents sent her off at a young age to be tutored by a respected, older woman referred to as Lady Marie. Lady Marie was a witch, practiced in ancient magick. The last of her Coven, Marie's skills ranged from hedge witchery to more powerful, forbidden arts. Kamille looked up to her as a mentor and learned all she could.
As an adult, Kamille balanced her precarious situation as best she could as both a noble and witch. Her parents died shortly before her daughter, Alice, was born. Kamille inherited their estate, and continues to run it to this day, despite the rumors that circulate about her station. She'd had the child, of course, out of wedlock. The Ishgardian rumor mill was a frenzy. Still, Kamille let the dirty looks roll off of her and did her best to maintain her position in society.
When Alice was old enough, Kamille sent her to Marie to be tutored much like she was. When Marie was caught promoting “heresy” to young Alice, Kamille made the hard choice to protect her daughter over her mentor. Lady Marie was cast into witchdrop, and Kamille was left to teach Alice alone.
