Eratika Solceri was born under the unforgiving sun of Thanalan, the daughter of a weary Mi'qote mother who struggled to survive in a world that offered little mercy. When her mother succumbed to illness, Eratika, barely old enough to understand the weight of loss, found herself alone, her childhood shattered. The bustling streets of Ul'dah became her home, where she learned to navigate the shadows, her heart hardened by hunger and survival. The vibrant markets and glimmering lights offered no solace; instead, they masked the darkness that loomed in the corners of her existence.
As she honed her skills as a street rat, dodging the grasp of those who sought to exploit her, fate dealt her a cruel hand. Sold to one of the many brothels that dotted the city, Eratika’s spirit flickered but refused to be extinguished. It was here she learned to mask her pain with a smile, her fierce independence simmering beneath the surface.
At sixteen summers, an elderly Elezen man, weary yet kind, entered her life. He saw not just a lost girl, but a chance to mend the broken. He adopted her, taking her to a home in The Shroud, where the whispers of the forest surrounded them. Under his guidance, Eratika was nurtured, learning not only the ways of the blade but also the value of honor and family. She transformed, her past a shadow that faded under the warmth of newfound love and purpose.
When she came of age, the call of adventure beckoned her once more, and Eratika set her sights on Limsa Lominsa. There, amidst the bustling docks and salt-kissed air, she sought the thrill of the Rogue's Guild, a place where her skills could flourish and her spirit could roam free. With each step forward, she carried the weight of her past but embraced the promise of her future.
Many years have passed since that fateful first day in Limsa Lominsa.
Eratika's journey from the shadows of the Rogue's Guild to becoming a private investigator was a tale woven with grit, determination, and an unyielding desire for independence. After a betrayal left her heartbroken, she felt a profound shift within herself. The camaraderie of the guild, once a source of strength, had begun to feel like a cage. She realized that if she wanted to truly navigate the world on her own terms, she had to break free from the chains of reliance on others.
With a fierce resolve, Eratika left the Rogue's Guild behind, her heart pounding with both excitement and fear. She had learned the art of disguise and deception, but now she sought to use those skills for a nobler purpose—solving mysteries and righting wrongs in her own way. She began to take on small cases, initially for friends and acquaintances who needed help navigating the murky waters of Ul'dah’s underbelly. Word of her keen instincts and resourcefulness spread, and soon she found herself inundated with requests for her services.
Eratika was savvy, both in her newfound profession and in managing her earnings. She saved diligently, her nights spent poring over ledgers and learning the ins and outs of running a business. Each coin she tucked away was a step closer to her dream of establishing her own agency. She understood the importance of branding herself; she adopted a persona that combined the allure of mystery with a reputation for getting results.
As she honed her skills, she took on more complex cases, her confidence growing with each success. She navigated the intricate web of political intrigue, family secrets, and stolen treasures, often drawing on her connections from her time in the Rogue’s Guild. Her expertise in disguise allowed her to infiltrate places where others could not go, and her sharp wit helped her navigate confrontations that often turned dangerous.
Eratika’s reputation blossomed, and with it came the opportunity to expand her ambitions.
The more she worked, the more she realized that her true strength lay not just in solving cases, but in empowering others.
Major Plotline - The Past (finished)
For the first time, she stepped off the ship at Limsa Lominsa, the salty breeze tangling her hair and bringing with it the whispers of a new beginning. The vibrant port city was alive with the bustle of merchants, adventurers, and the distant echo of waves crashing against the docks. It was here, amidst the chaos, that she first caught sight of Soren Saldono—a young Hyur with tousled hair and an infectious grin that sparked something deep within her.
Their connection blossomed quickly, a bond forged in the fires of youthful rebellion and shared dreams. Eratika, still haunted by her past, found solace in Soren’s unwavering support. Together, they plotted against the man who had sold her into slavery—a Guard of the Immortal Flames whom she had humiliated in front of others. He would drag her from the streets to the brothel where her nightmares had begun.
With Soren’s help, she devised a plan. They would expose him, reveal his corruption, and bring him to justice. Late nights were filled with whispered strategies and stolen moments, laughter intertwining with determination. As they navigated the treacherous underbelly of the city, Eratika felt the thrill of freedom and the intoxicating rush of revenge.
But the tides of fate are often cruel. In the final confrontation, as they executed their plan, things spiraled out of control. Soren stood bravely by her side, but the confrontation turned deadly. In the chaos, he was caught in the crossfire—his life extinguished just as they were on the brink of victory.
Eratika watched in horror, her heart shattering as she cradled Soren’s lifeless form. The weight of her vengeance felt hollow, and the thrill of justice turned to ash in her mouth. Limsa Lominsa, once a city of promise, now stood as a haunting reminder of love lost and the cost of revenge.
She buried him beneath the sprawling trees of the Shroud, vowing to honor his memory by continuing to fight against the darkness that had marred her life. Life went on, but the echoes of their young love and the harsh reality of loss would forever shape the woman she would become.
Eratika stood at the edge of the sea, the salty air stinging her eyes, and clenched her fists, resolute. She would not let Soren’s sacrifice be in vain. The fight was far from over.
Major Plotline - Sundown (finished)
Eratika found her way to the Sundown Free Company, a group that offered camaraderie and purpose, a sanctuary amidst the chaos of her life. The moment she stepped into the bustling headquarters, she felt an undeniable pull toward the vibrant energy of its members. It was there that she met Lyra Chattran, a spirited woman whose laughter bubbled like a stream in spring. Their friendship blossomed quickly, a bond forged through shared experiences and unspoken understanding. Lyra became the sister Eratika had longed for, the anchor she never knew she needed.
As the days turned into weeks, the Free Company became a home for Eratika. The members, each with their own stories and scars, welcomed her with open arms. Among them was Thurlan, a gentle warrior with a fierce loyalty to his friends, who often joined their adventures. Together, they formed a close-knit circle, united by their quest for justice and a thirst for adventure. She enjoyed playing matchmaker between Lyra and Thurlan, who later would marry.
One fateful evening, rumors swirled about a mysterious book hidden deep within the ruins of an ancient temple. Whispers of its power and dark origins ignited a fire in Eratika’s heart; she knew they had to uncover its secrets. With Lyra, Thurlan, and a handful of other brave souls, they embarked on a treacherous journey through the wilds, navigating traps and creatures that lurked in the shadows.
After days of searching, they finally unearthed the relic, its worn pages filled with arcane symbols that pulsed with energy. Elation surged through them, but as they returned to Sundown, the joy was short-lived. The book held a curse, one that lashed out as they delved into its mysteries. In an instant, Eratika felt a surge of energy ripple through her, and her form shifted unpredictably—a startling transformation that left her disoriented.
A series of chaotic events unfolded as her body fluctuated between her Mi'qote form and other winged and non-winged humanoid shapes. Each shift brought with it a disorienting rush, leaving her grasping for control. The curse revealed itself as a relentless tormentor, challenging her to navigate her reality while dealing with the aftermath of the book’s dark magic.
Lyra and Thurlan rallied around her, determined to find a way to break the curse. They scoured libraries and consulted sages, their friendship deepening as they faced each trial together. The bond forged in the face of adversity would be a lasting one.
However, the curse was never broken, but as with everything else that was thrown at her, she learned to use the ability to aid in her own investigations. Over the years, she has learned to control the shifting of forms, though under times of stress she will loose control. Her research into the curse and it's effects lead her to believe that the legendary alchemical Fantasia potion is very similar in origins.

Out of Character Information
- I only RP with those that are 18+ due to mature theme subject matter
- I do not RP WoL/Echo and current in-game ‘bubble’. I have a lengthy roleplay history with this character, which would be insane for her to have done all the plots lines within such a small amount of time. If your character does RP as the WoL/Echo she is just going to think they are touched in the head and move on about her day. What you RP is up to you, it matters little to me during the RP as the writer.
- If you wish to RP combat, let's talk about it!
- No maiming, disfiguring or death please.
- I only ERP if the current plot line makes it feasible.
- I have a FC House, Personal House and Apartment that I use for RP - located on Dynamis. I also have access to other RP house locations if any Roleplayers are interested in using the locations, just let me know and I can set it up for you.
- If you are interested in RP over discord, please let me know. I understand time constraints.
- Anything else, just ask me!
- I afk alot.. and I mean ALOT. I work from home and even though I am in-game most of the day, I may not be there mentally lol.
